Ministries

Discipleship, connection, and community are at the core of Mexia First Assembly.  Through our different ministries you will find opportunities to grow in all of these areas! 



  • D.o.c. kids

    (birth - 5th grade)

    Our Kid's Ministry at Mexia First Assembly includes Wednesday evening services from 6:00-7:30pm and Sunday morning Kid's Church during normal service times.

    This isn't just church daycare. Our kids staff and volunteers share a passion and focus on foundational Biblical teaching. Kids will learn to read, study, and apply scripture through creative, fun, and age appropriate lessons facilitated and led by fully trained and background checked staff and volunteers.

  • 828 youth

    (grades 6-12)

    Our Youth Ministry meets Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:30pm, where they spend time learning and practicing God's word while developing fellowship and community to support them through this deeply formational season of life.

    Our youth ministry has a deep focus on discipling and equipping our students to be world changers. Through camps, outreach opportunities, 1 on 1 discipleship, and missions trips our goal is for students to leave ready to do ministry wherever God calls them in life.

  • life groups

    Men's and Women's Life Groups are at the center of everything we do here at Mexia First Assembly.  They are the connection point to our MFA community and where we "do life" together.

    When you join a Life Group you are saying "Yes" to living in real Christian fellowship with others... growing, learning, laughing, and doing life together.


    Both our men's and women's Life Groups meet weekly, on Tuesdays, from 6:30-8:00pm at the church.

  • Men's Ministry

    Men's ministry is ministry to and through men.  Sharpening and challenging each other.  Growing together relationally, spiritually, and scripturally so that we can be equipped to lead and disciple in our home, workplaces, and communities.

  • Women's Ministry

    Women's ministry is a vital part of church life, providing a space for women to connect, grow, and support one another in their faith journey.  We focus on fostering relationships that encourage spiritual growth, biblical literacy, and personal transformation through the teachings of Jesus Christ.
