OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM

The staff and leadership here at Mexia First Assembly is comprised of men and women who love, care, and pray for every single person in the church.  If you have any questions we would love to talk to you.

  • Coit Willis - lead Pastor

    Pastor Coit has been active in ministry for over ten years, starting off serving on a men's ministry leadership team, before taking over as Men's Ministry Director at Thousand Hills Church in Hickory Creek, Texas where his wife Celina also served in the women's ministry.  During this time Coit also worked full-time as a police officer with the Dallas Police Department. In 2019 Coit answered God's call to pursue  full-time ministry and left the police department. He then began completing the educational requirements for credentials with the Assemblies of God, through Global University and the Thousand Hills School of Ministry.  In 2022 Coit accepted a full-time position as Youth Pastor and Men's Director at Lifeline Church in Denton, Texas where he served with Celina for over two years before being installed as the lead pastor at Mexia First Assembly, in Mexia, Texas in July of 2024.  Pastor Coit and his wife Celina have been married since 2014 and have two children Ethan and Everly.

  • Frank Acevedo- Worship DIRECTOR

    Frank has been on staff at Mexia First since 2022. He has loves to worship and has a heart and a passion to lead people into the presence of God. Frank works as a plant manager at Carry-on Trailer in Mexia.


  • Jermane Burks- youth Director

    Jermane has been on staff at Mexia First since 2023. He also previously served as kids leader in 2016. He absolutely loves our youth and is excited to be leading the team. Jermane graduated from Texas A&M University - Commerce. Jermane teaches at Axtel High School. He is currently working on his credentials through the Assemblies of God.

  • Celina willis - Youth director

    Celina joined the staff of Mexia First in 2024. She co-led with Pastor Coit at their previous church and is excited to grow MFA 828YTH and teach them how to hear God, be obedient to His word, and love each other with kindness, respect, and compassion. Celina graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelors in Psychology and a Master's in Behavior Analysis. She is currently working on her credentials through the Assemblies of God.

  • Deanna Faglie- Children's director

    Deanna Faglie has a heart for showing children how to play a part in their relationship with God and how much He loves them. One interaction with Miss Dee leaves children knowing they are loved and are called to amazing things.
